SERVICE DE POLICE DE LA HAMPSTEAD (QC) The old Hampstead Police Department, which became part of the newly created Montreal Urban Community Police Department (Service de Police de la Communauté urbaine de Montréal) on January 1st, 1972. The Town of Hampstead (Ville de Hampstead) still exists today.

Hampstead PD car 4 which was used mainly for traffic radar - a 60’s version of a low profile patrol vehicle! The picture was taken in 1969. The vehicle is a six cylinder 1965 Chevrolet Biscayne.
