Saskatchewan Commercial Vehicle Enforcement effective July 1, 2018
will be renamed Saskatchewan Highway Patrol. On July 1 they will officially
be a part of Saskatchewan's Provincial Response Team (PRT) and begin
carrying firearms. They will continue to focus primarily on commercial vehicle
enforcement; however, will have expanded authority in investigating violations
contrary to provincial actsand the Criminal Code of Canada. The fleet will
eventually be moved to a silver paint scheme with the same decal package
